Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe (English: National Digital Archives) are one of three central archives of the state archive network in Poland. It deals with digitalization, storage and providing access to digital versions of the documents, photos and audiovisual materials.

The previous logo of Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe consisted of a dominant, characteristic abbreviation NAC and a full name – incorporated into three rows of "digital" squares. We felt that the typography of the abbreviation got so old, that there was no point in refreshing it. "Digitalization" means more than just “pixels” nowadays. Instead of trying to improve the old wordmark or designing a new, we decided to expose the full name, keeping the layout and rhythm of its previous form by using a monospaced typeface. This way the primary version of the logotype presents the Archives’ full name, and the NAC abbreviation is merely a resultant, optional version, not the additional element of the mark. The full logotype is framed by a selection box, which changes its width along with changing the version of the logo.

We designed a new set of corporate, information and promotion materials, signage of the archives and NAC office as well as the new webpage nac.gov.pl.
